Located in the quiet backstreets of Sydney’s infamous Newtown, this terrace presented as a perfect opportunity to transform a once basic and original home into a bold and creative minimalist retreat.
Using natural light, colour and texture we were able to blend the old architecture with the new, while maintaining a respect for the original features we so highly prized. Oversized windows and doors allowed for the seamless integration of the interior and exterior, which really made the place sing.
Boasting high ceilings, plenty of storage, desirable finishes and fittings, an ensuite bathroom, and an open plan kitchen - living - dining, opening onto a lush, rambling garden. We knocked this brief out of the park.

Newtown Apartment
Nestled within the trees in one of Newtown’s prettiest streets, this cute, older style two bedroom apartment has been re-imagined as an open planned, light filled haven.
Removing walls and opening up the kitchen, living, dining area, we transformed the once closed and dark space into a light and airy open plan sanctuary. Adding value with a new bathroom and kitchen, replacing the floorboards and down-lights, the client was chuffed, to say the least.
We managed this project from start to finish, including all communication with authorities and trades. Whilst the client knew the look she wanted, we provided her with an effective and comprehensive list of options, which we worked through to reach the end result.

Enmore House
This well proportioned terrace was a delight to work with - retaining the original features of the property and ornate ceilings, paired with a great rear outlook and aspect, we transformed this house into a home.
Adding value and maximizing the property’s vast potential we created a series of social and functional spaces. A paired back and sophisticated palette of white, grey and marble tones were used as a backdrop for the clients’ own eclectic art and ornaments.
A low maintenance home with timeless finishes and fixtures, plenty of storage, upstairs bathroom, two living spaces, and a tight budget is a common brief for us, which we delivered.

Cremorne Apartment
An investment property which needed an interior refresh and a new bathroom was strategically managed. We efficiently obtained the appropriate permits and got straight to work making, sure no time was wasted and all the trades were lined up ready for their part.
We redesigned the existing bathroom to be more in keeping with the original Art Deco apartment aesthetic. Restored the original floorboards and brought back the timber detail around the windows. Replaced the light fittings and painted the place from top to bottom.
All complete within budget and on time, we managed this project from start to finish; including permits, drawings and project management.
